The Antwerp Left Bank area is an exceptional part of Antwerp. It is an urban district where high-rise housing blocks are situated next to villas and zones for recreation. A major asset of Left Bank is the open and green character, and the proximity to the port of Antwerp, making it a popular destination for expats moving to Antwerp. The apartment is located on the bank of the Galgenweel and has a view of the lake from the living room window, it is an artificial lake formed during the construction of the highway. It now is a recreational lake for sailing, wakeboarding and other water sports. A walkway goes around the lake and is ideal for running or hiking.
