No, tenants are not insured through Globexs. We strongly recommend arranging personal travel or contents insuranceto cover loss, theft, or accidental damage, as Globexs does not provide insurance coverage for tenants.

A NIE (Número de Identificación de Extranjero) is required for official and long-term procedures in Spain — such as opening a bank account, signing an employment contract, or registering with the local authorities — but it is not mandatory for short- or mid-term rentals.
